Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Galway Lands.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state whether the Land Commission have considered the propriety of acquiring for distribution amongst suitable allottees the Patrick Kelly farm at Carrowntubber, Kilkerrin, County Galway, in relief of the extreme local congestion; and, if so, with what result.

I presume this question refers to the lands of Mr. Roger Kelly. The Land Commission have no proceedings for the acquisition of the lands, but are having inquiries made.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state whether the Land Commission have considered the propriety of acquiring for division the estate of Mr. Joseph Shaughnessy at Kiltullagh, Kilkerrin, County Galway, so that adjoining uneconomic landholders may benefit thereby; and, if so, with what result.

The Land Commission have no proceedings for the acquisition of the lands in question.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state whether the Land Commission have considered the propriety of acquiring the John Culkeen estate at Carrowntubber, Kilkerrin, County Galway, for the purpose of division among adjoining landholders whereby the present local congestion may be relieved; and, if so, with what result.
