The recent reduction in the prices of tyres and tubes did not apply to bicycle tyres and tubes because the previous adjustments in prices provided for a much smaller percentage increase in the prices of these tyres and tubes than in the case of the motor car and heavy vehicle types. The prices of tyres and tubes generally are kept under review and further price reductions will be made if warranted by reductions in production costs.
