Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Land Division.

asked the Minister for Lands whether the Land Commission have yet made arrangements for the division of lands acquired from Mr. James Lynagh, Lack, Whitehall, County Roscommon (Nesbitt estate), and, if not, if he will state what arrangements are being made for the proper utilisation of these lands during the coming year.

Arrangements have not been completed for the allotment of the lands in question. The lands have been let in grazing and tillage to deserving local applicants.

asked the Minister for Lands if he is in a position to state when the land of Mr. Leahy, Cahernagh East, Tullylease, County Cork, will be divided.

The estate in question was acquired only recently and the Land Commission are not in a position to indicate when allotment will take place.
