Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Tipperary Estates.

asked the Minister for Lands whether the Land Commission have considered the propriety of acquiring the Molloy lands, Farney Castle, Thurles, County Tipperary, for division amongst the small and uneconomic holders in the district; and, if so, with what result.

The Land Commission have no proceedings for the acquisition of these lands but they are having inquiries made.

asked the Minister for Lands if any decision has been reached by the Land Commission in their negotiations regarding the Koe estate at Youghal, Newtown, Nenagh, County Tipperary; and, if so, if he will state when this land will be acquired for allotments.

Negotiations for the purchase of this estate have reached an advanced stage but it is not possible at present to indicate when possession of the lands will be obtained.
