asked the Minister for Lands if he will state the number of (a) holdings, and (b) allotments and enlargements which were vested during the period 31st March, 1951, to 31st March, 1952, and the total number of vestings for this period.

The particulars are:— (a) 8,023 and (b) 4,706. In all, 14,396 cases (including 1,667 rights of turbary) were vested in the year ended 31st March, 1952.
