Vol. 131 No. 13

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Currency Breaches.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will state the value of currency seized for breach of exchange control Orders in each year since the original Order was made.

The information the Deputy requires is largely contained in the records of the collectors of customs and excise at the various ports. It has not been possible to assemble it in the time available, but if the Deputy would be good enough to repeat his question in a fortnight's time I hope to be able to supply the particulars.

Has it never been compiled statistically?
