Vol. 131 No. 13

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Companies Act Offences.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state the total number of prosecutions instituted against Irish industrialists in 1951 in respect of offences under the Companies Act.

The statistics which have been kept of prosecutions under the Companies Acts do not distinguish different classes of business, and I am not, therefore, in a position to say how many of the prosecutions instituted in 1951 were instituted against industrial undertakings.
