Vol. 131 No. 14

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Postal Delay.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will explain why an important postcard posted in Termon, County Donegal, on 14th March, 1952, and addressed to a patient in Killybegs Sanatorium, Killybegs, County Donegal, was misdirected to Glasgow and was not delivered at Killybegs for some considerable time afterwards.

I have received a complaint about a postcard for Killybegs Sanatorium posted at Termon on Friday, the 14th March last. The card was unfortunately missent to Glasgow in the course of sorting and was not delivered until Tuesday, the 18th March.

My Department conveyed an expression of regret to the addressee for the inconvenience occasioned to him.
