Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Egg Exports.

asked the Taoiseach if he will state (1) the value and (2) the quantity of eggs exported in 1952, up to the latest date for which figures are available, and the corresponding figures for the same period in 1951.

The total domestic exports of eggs (including fresh hen eggs in shell and other eggs in shell) in the four months January-April, 1952, were 967,233 great hundreds, value £1,625,334. The corresponding figures for the same period in 1951 were 787,403 great hundreds, value £1,213,578.
