Vol. 132 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Imported Timber: Price Reduction.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce whether in view of the fact that the price of imported timber has fallen by 15 per cent. approximately, he will take steps to ensure that the importers and distributors will pass on the benefit of the fall in price to the general public.

The question of revising the existing controlled prices for imported timber is at present under examination and will be the subject of a recommendation by the Prices Advisory Body in due course.
