Vol. 134 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Midleton Postal Service.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will consider establishing a full postal service in the village of Saleen, Midleton, County Cork.

I am not clear as to the meaning of the Deputy's reference to a full postal service. The village of Saleen has a daily delivery at present. If he has in mind the establishment of a sub-post office the position is that the amount of business likely to be transacted would not justify the opening of a post office at Saleen.
