asked the Minister for Local Government if he has received proposals from the Wexford Corporation for the construction of a new sewer from Lygram Place through John Street, etc.; and, if so, when it is proposed to sanction these proposals.

Plans submitted by the Wexford Corporation for the provision of an intercepting sewer at John Street were approved by my Department subject to consideration locally of certain technical aspects of the scheme. Reports submitted by the corporation since on these matters are at present under examination.
Observations arising out of this examination will be conveyed to the corporation as soon as possible.
