Vol. 135 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Supply of Electricity in Berehaven Peninsula.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce whether he is aware that a number of applications for extension of electric current to their homes has been submitted to the Electricity Supply Board by residents in the Berehaven Peninsula; and, if so, if he will indicate when those applications will be dealt with.

I am informed by the Electricity Supply Board that applications for the supply of electric current have been received from residents in Lehanmore, Cahermore and Garinish at the western end of the Berehaven Peninsula and that an official canvass of the householders in these townlands will be carried out by the board in the near future.
