Vol. 135 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Balbriggan Harbour.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he is aware that Balbriggan harbour is badly silted up with sand, making it almost impossible for boats to enter and, if so, if he will have arrangements made to have it dredged.

The Dublin Port and Docks Board are the authority responsible for the maintenance of Balbriggan Harbour.

I am informed by the board that they are arranging for the removal of siltation at the harbour entrance when weather conditions permit.
