Dáil Éireann debate -
Tuesday, 9 Dec 1952

Vol. 135 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Six-County Representation.

asked the Taoiseach if the Government are prepared to review the situation concerning the admission of certain elected representatives of the partitioned part of Ireland to Dáil Éireann; and, if so, whether they have any scheme to advance co-operation in this way.

The position of the Government in regard to the matter referred to in the Deputy's question was stated in this House by the Taoiseach in his reply to a question by Deputy Dr. Noel Browne on the 5th July, 1951, and in the course of his speech concluding the debate on the Estimate for his Department on the 19th July, 1951. There has been no change in the Government's attitude towards the matter since those statements were made.
