Vol. 137 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Offaly Pump.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he is aware of the failure and refusal of the Offaly County Council to furnish a public pump for the people of Ballymacrossan,Geashill, County Offaly, where no pump is available within two miles radius of the townland, and where county council cottages and Land Commission houses have no water supply; and, if so, if he will inquire into the matter in the interests of the people's health.

I am not aware of the circumstances referred to. This is a matter primarily for the sanitary authority and I am drawing their attention to the Deputy's question.
