Vol. 137 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Appointment of Dental Surgeon.

asked the Minister for Health when it is proposed to have the services of a whole-time dental surgeon provided for County Offaly, and if such an appointment will also be made for County Laoighis.

A whole-time dental surgeon took up duty in County Laoighis on the 1st January, 1953.

I have approved of the creation of a post of permanent whole-time dental surgeon under Offaly County Council. The post will be filled in the ordinary way through the Local Appointments Commission.
