Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Land Acquisition and Division.

asked the Minister for Lands if he is now in a position to state whether the Land Commission have yet acquired the lands of Margaret Knox, Belgarrow, Foxford, County Mayo; and, if so, when it is proposed to divide them.

The Land Commission have not yet acquired this estate but it is expected that possession may be secured in the very near future.

asked the Minister for Lands if he is in a position to state what progress has been made towards the division of the Carter estate in the townland of Doolough.

The allotment of the lands in question cannot be undertaken pending the completion of a sand fixation scheme at present being carried out.

asked the Minister for Lands if inquiries are yet complete for the acquisition of the McLean estate, Lisnaskea, Knockmore, Ballina.

The Land Commission have not yet completed their inquiries in this case.
