asked the Minister for Finance if it is correct that the following sub-heads of Vote 9 (Public Works) are part of the total amount of Capital Services (designated as such in 1951-52) stated by him at Volume 137, column 166, to be £9,366,000. A, Purchase of Sites and Buildings,£20,000; B, New Works and Additions (part), £1,000,000; J1, Arterial Drainage Surveys, £20,500; J2, Arterial Drainage Construction Works, £390,000; J4, River Fergus Drainage, £10,600; K1, Purchase of Engineering Plant and Machinery, £80,000. Total, £1,521,100.

asked the Minister for Finance if it is correct that the following sub-heads of Vote 38 (Local Government) are part of the total of Capital Services (designated as such in 1951-52) stated by him at Volume 137, column 166, to be £9,366,000: I3. Housing Grants, £2,000,000; I6, Housing Grants, £60,000; I7, Housing Grants, £450,000; K, Local Authorities (Works) Act, £400,000; L, Sanitary Services, £30,000. Total, £2,940,000.

asked the Minister for Finance if it is correct that the following sub-heads of Vote 48 (Forestry) are part of the total of Capital Services (designated as such in 1951-52) stated by him at Volume 137, column 166, to be £9,366,000: C1, Acquisition of Land, £163,000; C2, Forestry Development Nurseries, £134,850; Capital Expenditure, £249,550; Constructional, £132,550; £516,950. Total, £679,950.

asked the Minister for Finance if it is correct that the following sub-head of Vote 49 (Gaeltacht Services) is part of the total of Capital Services (designated as such in 1951-52) stated by him at Volume 137, column 166, to be £9,366,000: F, Grants under the Housing (Gaeltacht) Acts, £61,500.

asked the Minister for Finance if it is correct that the following sub-heads of Vote 50 (Industry and Commerce) are part of the total of Capital Services (designated as such in 1951-52) stated by him at Volume 137, column 166, to be £9,366,000: L1, Advances to Mianraí Teoranta, £26,500; M3, Grants for Housing, £85,500. Total, £112,000.

asked the Minister for Finance if it is correct that the following sub-heads of Vote 51 (Transportand Marine Services) are part of the total capital services (designated as such in 1951-52) stated by him at Volume 137, column 166, to be £9,366,000: A6, Passenger facilities at Cobh £7,550; B, Grants for Harbours (part-estimate), £400,000. Total £407,550.

asked the Minister for Finance if it is correct that the following sub-heads of Vote 52 (Aviation and Meteorological Services) are part of the total of capital services (designated as such in 1951-52) stated by him at Volume 137, column 166 to be £9,366,000; E, Acquisition of Land, £7,750; G, Constructional Works at Shannon, £100,000; H, Constructional Works at Dublin, £60,000; Q, Equipment, £15,000. Total, £182,750.

asked the Minister for Finance if it is correct that the following sub-heads of Vote 27 (Agriculture) are part of the total of capital services (designated as such in 1951-52) stated by him at Volume 137, column 166 to be £9,366,000: G3, Improvement of Poultry and Egg Production, £178,000; M8 (Item C.), Farm Buildings, £350,000, (Item D.) Water Supplies, £70,000; M9, Land Project, £2,861,210. Total, £3,459,210.

I propose, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, to take Questions Nos. 7 to 14, inclusive, together.

I would refer the Deputy to the comprehensive statement supplied by me yesterday in reply to a question in the same connection by Deputy Declan Costello.

Does the sum which was included by the Minister in yesterday's report give the details of these figures?
