Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Cork Housing.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will indicate the number of (a) village type houses and (b) rural cottages erected by the Cork County Council (South Cork board of health area) during the years 1948, 1949, 1950, 1951 and 1952.

The county council erected in the South Cork area 8, 78, 236 and 68 village-type houses respectively during the four years ended 31st December, 1952. The numbers of rural cottages erected in that area during these years were 8, 114, 167 and 88 respectively. No houses were erected by the council in South Cork during 1948.
