Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - State Servants' Salary Adjustments.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will state the date on which the salary adjustments due since 1st April last will be paid to all civil servants, members of the Army and Garda and teachers.

In accordance with the scheme of conciliation and arbitration agreed with the Civil Service Staff Associations, a motion will be introduced in this House in relation to the Government's decision on the Civil Service pay increases announced in the Budget statement. Pending the passing of this motion arrangements for payment to the classes mentioned by the Deputy will not be set in train.
