The grants allocated to Limerick County Council for works under the Local Authorities (Works) Act, 1949, in each of the three years ended 31st March, 1953, were £75,000, £47,000 and £23,000, respectively. The grant for the current financial year will be approximately one-half of the 1952-53 figure.
