Vol. 140 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Clondulane Flour Mills.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state if the Cork Milling Company have reconsidered their attitude in regard to the closing of Clondulane Flour Mills; and, if not, if he will indicate what steps are being taken by his Department to have the mills taken over by some other millers or manufacturers of feeding stuffs, so as to relieve the unemployment problem there.

I have received no further information from the Cork Milling Company, and I consider it inappropriate at this stage to make any statement in regard to the inquiries contained in the second part of the Deputy's question.
