asked the Minister for Lands if he is aware that the Land Commission recently decided to acquire the lands of Mr. John Rogers (or reps. Martin Rogers), Carrowmore, Castlerea, County Roscommon, and that those lands have since been sold by Mr. John Rogers by public auction and, if so, whether he will state what is now the intention of the Land Commission in regard to those lands.

An objection to the acquisition of these lands was disallowed on the 3rd June, 1953. The lands were recently advertised for sale but the Land Commission have not been advised by the owner or any purchaser that the lands were sold. Acquisition proceedings are in progress.
