Vol. 140 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Minimum Barley Prices.

asked the Minister for Agriculture whether he is now in a position to announce a minimum price for feeding barley of this year's crop and if he will state what steps he proposes to take to ensure that farmers who have, through lack of storage, to dispose of this crop immediately it is harvested, will not be exploited by barley buyers.

I would refer the Deputy to my replies to Deputy Collins on 4th March, 1953,. and to Deputy Esmonde on 10th June, 1953.
