asked the Minister for Finance if he will state in regard to the improvement of Portaleen Harbour, County Donegal, (a) whether a survey has been carried out, (b) the date of such survey, (c) the recommendations made and (d) the date on which work on proposed improvements is likely to commence.

A hydrographic survey of the Portaleen area was carried out over the period January to March, 1953, and the plotting of the results was completed in May, 1953. Examination of the results of the survey has not yet been completed.
Can the Parliamentary Secretary state when it is expected the examination will be completed?
