Vol. 141 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Market for Sheeps Wool.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will indicate the prospects for a stable market for the sale of sheeps wool over the next few months.

Raw wool is not subject to export control and prices are therefore governed by world conditions. It would be difficul to attempt to forecast future price trends, but I have seen it stated in a responsible journal that the general expectation is that next September prices will open at around present levels.
