Vol. 141 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Galway Lands.

asked the Minister for Lands whether the Land Commission have yet made a decision concerning the propriety of acquiring for division among local uneconomic holders the lands of Cloondoyle Beg, Glenamaddy, County Galway, previously the property of Mr. Martin J. Donelan; and, if so, the nature of the decision.

Proceedings were instituted for the acquisition of this estate. A legal difficulty has arisen and, until it is resolved, it is not possible to indicate whether the proceedings can be continued.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state whether proceedings for the acquisition of the Mylotte estate, Ardour, Kilconly, County Galway, have yet reached the stage at which arrangements can be made for the allotment of the lands; and, if so, when such allotment may be expected.

The Land Commission obtained possession of this estate in February last and allotment will take place as soon as a suitable scheme can be prepared.
