Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Donegal Unemployment.

asked the Minister for Social Welfare if he will state the numbers registering for unemployment benefit at the exchanges in Dunfanaghy, Dungloe, Ballyshannon and Killybegs, County Donegal, for the week ending the 30th June, 1953.

The numbers of persons claiming unemployment benefit at the local offices mentioned, on Saturday, the 27th June, 1953 (which is the date nearest to the date mentioned in the question for which the figures are available) were as follows:—Dunfanaghy, 294; Dungloe, 360; Ballyshannon, 204; Killybegs, 396.
