The indebtedness of Grain Importers (Éire) Limited on foot of bank overdrafts varies considerably from time to time. The amount of the bank overdraft on 31st March, 1952, was £2,495,613, and on the 31st March, 1953, £3,574,992.
The amount paid by the company in interest on bank overdraft was £104,275 for 1951-52 and £159,681 for 1952-53.
