Vol. 142 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Fermoy Post Office.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he is now in a position to state when repairs will be carried out at the Fermoy Post Office.

Proposals for improvements to the official accommodation at Fermoy Post Office have been formulated by my Department and are at present under examination in the Office of Public Works. A date for commencement of the proposed improvement works cannot yet be stated.

Is the Minister aware that these repairs are in urgent need of attention and will he make representations to the Board of Works to have the work carried out with the utmost expedition?

Every effort is being made to get the work completed.
