Vol. 142 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Finglas-Howth Main Drainage.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state if he has as yet sanctioned the final plans for the Finglas-Howth main drainage scheme, including the location of the outfall; and when it is now expected that the scheme as a whole will be completed.

Work is at present in progress on the Finglas-Raheny and the Sutton foreshore sections of the North Dublin drainage scheme. Preliminary plans for the remaining section have been approved and contract documents for this section are being prepared by the Dublin Corporation. I am not in a position tostate when the entire scheme will be completed.
