Vol. 142 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Kildare Holdings.

asked the Minister for Lands when the Land Commission propose to vest the holdings on the Cullen estate at Ballitore, County Kildare.

It is not possible at present to state when the allotments on this estate will be vested. Preliminary steps have been taken with a view to the removal of certain difficulties which stand in the way of vesting and as soon as these are overcome vesting will be effected.

Could the Minister indicate when he hopes the difficulties will be overcome?

We are in correspondence with the county council. It is really the Land Registry that is in difficulties as some of the allottees are not recorded there as owners of theregistered parent holdings. I shall try to have the matter expedited.
