Vol. 142 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Agricultural Credit Corporation Loans.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will state the number and aggregate amount of loans issued by the Agricultural Credit Corporation in each of the years 1950-51 to 1952-53, classified as follows: (a) loans up to £100, (b) loans of £100 to £200, (c) loans of £200 to £300, (d) loans of £300 to £400, (e) loans of £400 to £500, (f) loans of £500 to £750, (g) loans of £750 to £1,000, (h) loans of £1,000 to £2,500, and (i) loans of £2,500 and upwards.

I am informed by the Agricultural Credit Corporation that particulars of the loans issued, classified in the form requested by the Deputy, are not available and could not be compiled without a considerable expenditure of time and labour.

The Corporation has furnished particulars of the aggregate amount of loans issued for each of the years 1950-51 to 1952-53, classified into loans under £500, loans under £1,000 down to £500 and loans of £1,000 and upwards.
