Vol. 142 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Military Service Pension Application.

asked the Minister for Defence if he will publish the Referee's report on the application for a military service pension of applicant No. 34/SP33563.

The person referred to by the Deputy applied for a service certificate under the provisions of the Military Service PensionsAct, 1934. The Referee, to whom the application was referred, reported on the 2nd January, 1942, that the applicant was not a person to whom the Act applied, and notification to that effect was conveyed to him on the 28th January, 1942. The application was reconsidered by the Referee under the terms of the Military Service Pensions (Amendment) Act, 1949, and the Referee confirmed, on the 12th November, 1951, the previous report that the applicant was not a person to whom the Act applied. The applicant was notified accordingly on the 15th November, 1951.

Was it the same referee who reported?

A separate and different referee?

And even if it were not?
