Vol. 142 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Pedestrian Crossings.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state whether a decision has yet been reached by him as to the introduction of proposals for legislation for the protection of pedestrians at recognised street crossings as indicated in his reply to a question on the 21st February, 1952.

Legislation to overcomethe legal difficulty referred to in my reply to the Deputy's question of 21st February, 1952, will be introduced as soon as a suitable opportunity presents itself.

In the meantime they have to continue dodging the road hogs.
