Vol. 142 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Atlantic Weather Ships.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state whether the decision of the United States authorities to withdraw their contribution on the Atlantic weather ships will affect our contribution or the services provided.

In reply to a question about this matter on the 5th November I mentioned that the position created by the decision of the United States authorities was being examined by the International Civil Aviation Organisation. Pending completion of this examination it will not be possible to say how that decision will affect our contribution or the services provided.
