Vol. 143 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Limerick School.

asked the Minister for Education if he is aware that school children at Patrickswell, County Limerick, are again being accommodated at the old school which was condemned and vacated some years ago; and, if so, if he will state what steps he proposes to take to have proper school accommodation provided in the village.

I am aware that a teacher on the staff of Patrickswell National School and her class are being accommodated in a room in the old school building as a temporary arrangement pending the erection of an additional classroom at the present school. My Department has sanctioned a grant for the erection of the new classroom and the necessary preliminary arrangements for its erection will be made as expeditiously as possible by the Commissioners of Public Works.
