asked the Minister for Local Government whether he has received proposals from the Kildare County Council for sanction for a purchase scheme for cottages erected by the council between 1932 and 1938, and if he will state when the proposals will be sanctioned.

A draft purchase scheme was received in the Department on the 15th ultimo and is the subject of correspondence with the local authority on certain points of detail. When the scheme is resubmitted for approval it will be dealt with as quickly as possible.
