Vol. 143 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Wexford Clinic.

asked the Minister for Health if he will state thepresent position with regard to the erection of a clinic in Wexford town, and when it is expected that work will commence.

Tenders for the erection of the Wexford County Clinic have been received by the local authority and I am expecting that they will be submitted to my Department in the next few days. A decision on the county manager's proposals regarding the acceptance of tenders will be forwarded to the local authority with the least possible delay when these documents have been received.

It is expected that work on the project will commence next month.

It is not right, therefore, what I have been informed, that these tenders have been submitted to the Department—that is not right?

I have not yet seen them, anyway.
