asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he is aware of the urgent demand for a post office at Crossreagh, Mullagh, County Cavan; and if, having regard to the serious inconvenience being caused to the people of this area due to lack of post office facilities, he will take steps to have the position remedied as soon as possible.

Arising out of representations made to me in May last the question of opening a post office at Crossreagh, Mullagh, has been under examination but no final decision has been taken. I propose to reconsider the matter early in the new year and I shall convey my decision to the Deputies of the area who made representations in the matter.
