Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Apple Imports and Exports.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will state the arrangements in existence between this country, Great Britain and the Six Counties for the export and import of apples grown in these areas.

There are no restrictions on the export of apples from this country or on their importation into Great Britain or the Six Counties. Apples grown in Great Britain or the Six Counties are subject on importation to a customs duty of 1d. per lb., but are not quantitatively controlled.
