The numbers of non-industrial employees of local authorities under the Local Government Acts, i.e., councils of counties and urban districts and corporations of county boroughs and boroughs, for whom the Minister for Agriculture is the appropriate Minister, are available only in the following form for the years 1950 and 1953:—
