Vol. 143 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Forestry Workers in County Waterford.

asked the Minister for Lands whether he is aware that the forestry workers employed at the nursery at Tallow, County Waterford, are in urgent need of a hut to enable them to have meals in comfort during wet weather; and, if so, if he will take steps to have a new hut erected.

A Nissen hut sent to Tallow early this year was intended originally for the nursery but was found unsuitable for erection there. A prefabricated wooden hut is now being supplied from Dundrum Sawmill and should be available within a week or two.
