Vol. 143 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Cattle Breeding in West Galway.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if it is his intention to import a number of Aberdeen Angus bulls from Scotland with a view to improving the breed of cattle in West Galway.

It is the intention, if circumstances permit, to purchase some Aberdeen Angus bulls in Scotland next spring in addition to the usual purchases at home sales for location on special terms in the congested districts. The needs of West Galway will be duly considered when the bulls are being allocated.
