Vol. 143 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Soil Testing.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will state the number of farmers in County Dublin who have made application to have their soil tested.

Mr. Walsh

This information is not available in my Department. Applications by farmers to have soil samples taken for testing are made direct to the different committees of agriculture —in this case the County Dublin Committee of Agriculture.

My Department's records under the service relate to the samples received for testing at the Department's soil-testing laboratory at Johnstown Castle Agricultural College, Wexford.
