Written Answer. - Imported Wheat.
Particulars of the quantity and c.i.f. cost of wheat imported in 1951, 1952 and in the period January-November, 1953, average price per barrel, and the countries from which the wheat was imported, are given in the following table. The average moisture content on importation of wheat (other than for seed) in the periods in question is estimated at 13.3 per cent., 14 per cent. and 12.7 per cent., respectively. Information is not available on the moisture content of wheat imported for seed.
