Vol. 144 No. 1

Ceisteanna — Questions. Oral Answers. - Donegal School Site.

asked the Minister for Education if, in view of the urgency for the erection of a new school in Laghey, County Donegal, he will have the site offered in McClay's field accepted as being the best available site in the locality.

I understand that there are alternative sites which the reverend manager is in a position to offer for a new school to replace the present national school at Laghey, County Donegal, one of which is the site referred to by the Deputy.

Pending further consideration, I am not in a position to say which of the sites will be found most suitable, but I am hoping that the matter will be brought to an issue and a decision communicated to the reverend manager at an early date.
