Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Deposits and Savings.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will state (a) the total amount due to depositors in (i) the Post Office Savings Bank and (ii) the Trustee Saving Banks at 31st December, 1952, and 31st December, 1953; and (b) the percentage of the total savings in each of the years mentioned invested in British Government securities and in Irish securities.

The particulars sought by the Deputy are contained in a tabular statement which, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, will be included in the Official Report.
