Vol. 146 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Proposed Limerick Maternity Hospital.

asked the Minister for Health if he will state if the construction of the proposed regional maternity hospital at Belfield, Limerick, as sanctioned by the previous Government, will be proceeded with; and, if so, if he will indicate the probable date of commencement of the work; and, further, if any portion of the cost of building is to be borne by the ratepayers of Limerick City or County.

It is intended to proceed with the construction of the proposed regional maternity hospital at Belfield, Limerick, and, in fact, tenders for the building work have already been invited. The full cost of the project is being met from the Hospitals Trust Fund.
